These lines are designed to perform best with today's modern medium to fast action graphite fly rods. Cortland 333 Classic Trout All Purpose Fly Lines are available in both double taper and weight forward tapers. The weight forward taper features a long-belly that allows for easier overhead and roll casting. The weight forward taper also improves mending and general line handling control. The double taper lines are better suited for precise accuracy casting. The double taper lines can be reversed on the reel, in turn doubling the life of the line.
